CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Employment opportunities abound for positions as a holistic therapist. These include working at natural health clinics, wellness centres, spas, resorts and cruise ships. Many graduates successfully establish a private practice.

Most graduates of the Institute of Aromatherapy are practicing successfully in the Holistic Health field. The Institute regularly posts job descriptions and gives career advice to its students, but does not guarantee employment. Certified holistic health therapists routinely earn from $40 - $60 per hour.

RECOGNITION

Diplomas issued by the Institute of Aromatherapy for the career courses (CNHP, HHP, RAHP and CRHP) are recognized by the: Federal Ministry of Human Resources, City of Toronto Licensing Board, Canadian Examining Board of Health Care Practitioners, and the International Federation of Holistic Therapists (UK).
