OUR VISION:
The C.N.H.P. programme is specifically designed for career-minded individuals with a desire to work with their clients in a more holistic manner - treating mind, body and soul.
The C.N.H.P. programme is on the cutting edge of alternative therapies. You will become equipped with a variety of skills, ranging from Aromatherapy and Reflexology to Holistic Skin Care and Thai Yoga Massage. This flexibility allows you to treat clients on an individual need basis, while also increasing your marketability to potential employers.
Applying other skills such as cosmetic and soap making can help you build a business that not only complements your practice, but one that can function as an entity on its own.
All these skills - combined with your desire to succeed - will empower you to easily create and foster a successful business as either a home-based or a clinic-based practice.

To allow the student to gain professional exxperience in several healing modalitiers.
To allow for personal growth and development of the student.

as a Holistic practitioner in Spas, Health Clinics, Resorts, Cruise Ships, Beauty Salons and Wellness Centres.
RECOGNITION:Diplomas issued by the Jan Benham School of Holisticc Studies are recognized by the: Federal Ministry of Human Resources, City of Toronto Licensing Board, Canadian Examining Board of Health Care Practitioners and the International Federation of Holistic Therapists (UK).
This programme begins three times a year, starting in Spetember, January or April.

Please note: Not all courses are available both day & evening each Semester.
ELECTIVES: These courses are electives; students are allowed to choose five of the following:
Reiki Level I, Crystal Healing, Create your own Medicine Shield, Qi Stone Massage (this counts as 2 electives), Reiki Level II, Polarity, Bath Bomb & Shampoo Making, Spa Weekend, Qi Drop Therapy, plus other special interest courses will be offered from time to time.

LENGTH OF STUDY
FULL TIME
This study option is considered FULL TIME, and consists of one 9 month 'school year' with Three Semesters. Semesters begin September, January and April. Please note that this programme is flexible enough for a working professional on at least a part-time basis. Refer to the hours and schedule below.
DAYS PER WEEK: 2 - 3 * WEEKENDS: 1-2 PER MONTH * HOURS: 25 HOURS PER WEEK
The C.N.H.P course of study is a minimum of at least 25 hours per week in total; however, the hours are divided differently each semester depending on course emphasis. Each student's actual hours will vary. The schedule will vary somewhat each semester, which also affects the actual number of hours per week. The 25 hours per week consists of lectures, weekend workshops, business orientation & a classroom student clinic. The student should allow additional time for home practice, case studies and thesis projects.
